This is an Original 1961-1962 Chevrolet Corvette Water Pump. It's Casting # 3782609. These pumps were cast in Flint, Michigan and were not dated. This water pump was rebuilt using a correct original back plate, original pan head screws and an original GM cast iron impeller, the way it came from the factory. Two mounting gaskets are included. This pump is correct for a Corvette per the 61-62 NCRS Judging Manual.  This pump is not one of the fake junk #609 pumps you will sometimes see on eBay and are being sold by some parts suppliers.I have many other Chevrolet Water Pumps  for many different applications including all Corvette Water Pumps from 1953-1995. This pump is just like the #609 that sold for $571 on eBay Sunday, November 1, 2009.
