 Thank you for viewing. We have 7 Cars, Vans & Trucks - need to downsize. Up for Auction is a 1978 Chevrolet 4x4 1/2 Ton Pick-up Truck. This truck runs good, never had many problems. Title is clear. There is no warranty for this vehicle. My husband is the 2nd owner. We have not used this truck much since my husband retired. He was a Tree Surgeon & used this truck for the business and on the job. For the most part, my husband only drove this truck locally within the Monterey Bay Area mostly. Truck has not been Registered since 2/2004, as we don't use it these days hardly at all. We have never had any trouble registering it. Truck has a 400 cc small block V-8 Engine. Gets about 12-14 mpg. It really runs like a champ. Truck has a newer Engine & Transmission. Brakes are good. Except for that, truck is all original, have had the seats redone some time ago. Tires are old but still hold air. There are 2 Gas Tanks, one on each side. Back tailgate is in good shape. The body has rust spots that need repair. The front hood has been replaced, along with 1 of the doors. The frame is in good shape. Truck has no power windows or seats. Windows need to be fixed. Air Conditioning & Radio do not work. The truck has 91,256 miles, I believe it is stuck. Truck is being sold As Is. Buyer needs to pick-up at my Monterey Bay Area home. It is currently not street legal as it needs to be Registered therefore, it needs to be towed or put on a trailer upon pick up. TRUCK DOES RUN WELL, COULD USE A NEW BATTERY. Payment must be made in advance. This is a sweet running little truck that mostly just needs some body work. My preferred method of payment is Paypal or personal check.
