This is a brand new custom made shift knob for any Mazda 6, Miata, RX8, or MX5 with a manual transmission and a M10 x 1.25 threaded shift rod.  These are a direct fit/replacement for the stock shift knob. They're made from lightweight and durable Delrin (engineered polymer) material and has a M10 x 1.25 tapped hole in it. The Delrin dissipates heat very well. If your in a very warm climate, this is a good choice for you. This knob is made specifically for the Mazda, and will screw directly on the stock shifter assembly. This is not a cheap universal knob that rattles.  

With this design we wanted to increase the amount of surface contact area for your hand. We made the top radii generously large, as well as, increased the overall diameter and length. This all contributes to a very comfortable feeling in your hand. Whether you want your palm to rest on top of the large radii on top, or on the side of the larger surface area, your hand feels at ease. The larger diameter also allows you to wrap your entire hand around it for the most secure grip ever!

This particular design has a diameter of just under 2.0" and is about 3.4" long. The neck at the bottom is about 1.3". Just large enough to keep the shift boot tucked away on the bottom, and away from your fingers.  The top is fully rounded for a nice place for your entire palm or your thumb. We drilled and tapped the hole as deep as possible to give this a nice lowered installed height. It's CNC machined and glass bead blasted to produce a nice matted finish and superior grip.  It really looks sharp in the interior.  

All of these shift knobs are designed, manufactured, and distributed, right here in the U.S.A. by a fellow car enthusiast (me). If you don't like this particular design, stay tuned, additional designs will follow.
