This is an customized chip for the 1227747 ECU used in 87-91 and the 1992 16146299 fullsize pickups with TBI engines.  I can also set the chip for 5 SPEED or AUTOMATIC.   I need to know as much about the engine as possible and everything needs to be computer compatible.  Cams are where most people make their mistake and the 2nd big mistake is trying to run a 300+ horsepower engine with the stock throttle body and fuel system.  Please check with me to make sure everything is up to par before ordering a chip.

This is a replacement chip for the factory prom inside your computer. Not a resistor that alters the sensor reading to fool the computer into doing something its not suppose to do.

Chip is installed in factory holder and is just pull the old prom out and replace with this one. You can put the stock chip back in just as easily. This is much easier than trying to reuse the factory plastic holder from the stock chip.
