Information on these clusters.....

Regardless of what you may have been told or what you have read, starting in 2003 all GM truck clusters must be programmed to the VIN of the vehicle to operate correctly. This programming will vary depending on the year & options of the vehicle. DIGITAL DASH SOLUTIONS offers FREE VIN, mileage, hour & software programming with purchase. We will be sure the cluster you receive will be 100% compatible with your truck or SUV.

If you purchase a new or used cluster elsewhere, it will come with zero or wrong mileage and incomplete or wrong software. These clusters will need the software to be updated to your vehicles VIN, mileage & hours to operate correctly. Installing a cluster with wrong programming will cause functions of the information center to not operate correctly, display a false service code, IE.. (service brake booster). If a cluster displays "program cluster" in the information center, this indicates the cluster has no calibration file and will not be calibrated.
