Uniquely styled, finely crafted and beautifully constructed. This is a custom built wood boat tail speedster body for a Model T ford. The overall length of this body is 11' from the firewall to the tail.The firewall and dashboard are from a 1926 Model T Ford. This body was custom made and designed after the wood bodied Hispano- Suiza that is on display at the Blackhawk Museum.The wood work on this body is exceptional and will make a beautiful finished speedster. The overall condition is great with the exception of a small dent in the wood body just behind the firewall on the drivers side of the body. I was going to cut that out and put a vent in for fresh air. There are a few minor spots on the body where the laminated wood has puckered from humidity; however I have been told that can easily be corrected. Notice the beautiful detailing that has been done with the mahogany veneer on the Cowl and down the boat tail of this body. Pickup for this item is recommedned.
