Vehicle History Report Summary for 1994 Chevrolet Corvette LT1
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The purchase price was near $40,000.00 new and currently in all condition and history Blue Books at nearly $9000.00. Up for auction is a real nice 1994 Chevrolet Corvette personally owned and used as summer recreation. The vehicle is adult owned and never abused NOR neglected. It's always garage kept and stored in winters. This car screams "Performance". This is the rare LT-1 performance package with the limited 6 speed manual transmission mated with the performance 350 V8 chevy tuned engine. The car has the factory option of having directional 17" aluminum wheels and are wrapped with year old Kuhmo directional ZR rated high speed tires estimated having 80% tread. Another special option that this car has is the painted-to-match-exterior removeable Targa top. Rather than the inexpensive vinyl convertible tops that are accustomed to ripping and tearing as well as poor seals that leak water, within 5 minutes this hardtop can be unbolted and locked into place in the rear hatch area kept in place by it's own holdown fastening system in case of the unfortunate weather. A unique owner-added custom touch is the profesionally painted speed stripe that begins as a transparent hue of rasberry at the forefront of the cowl hood that increasingly becomes more pronounced through the entire length of the car to an almost darker shade of blackcherry ( very cool ) ! The underside of the car shows to be very clean and having the stainless steel dual exhaust, you can enjoy a low throaty soft tone. The gauge cluster and instrumentation panel has digital readouts which look hi-tech. The interior dash pad's condition will attest to the statement made of being garage kept. It's supple black and quite pliable with no cracks or weathering. The interior colors are a camel and tan two-tone with black trimmings. The carpet has no noticeable stains, rips, or burns as it has been owned by non-smokers. The seats do however show signs of wear from being used and the car driven. The drivers bolster would seem to show the most wear but there are no tears or rips in the leather seats. Perhaps a leather conditioner would renew these? I haven't asked an upholstery shop because I don't foresee any issues here rather than cosmetic. The FM tuner module for the Bose system is faulty and needs to be replaced. They run $100.00 on ebay and just plug into the speaker connectors and antenna cable. We don't listen to the radio much when driving the car because we like to enjoy the motor and listen to the wind instead. During our most recent shop physical on the car, we were told that the clutch will be needing some adjustment in the future. The engine burns no oil, and no other mechanical components in the drivetrain use any more fluid than per factory specification. The brakes are good. The car drives and tracks straight and true. The transmission is excellent but they said the clutch play should be watched. I don't know if this can be adjusted by ones self or a clutch kit ? I wanted to be upfront and honest about maintenance that would be needed down the road. A few years back the car was in an accident and the cost was more than the insurance wanted to provide so it was purchased from the insurance company having a salvage title and later was repaired and inspected to be granted and state DOT approved as a clear title. It does not state salvage on the title. Because of this, the Auction Price is very low and reasonable :) . I want the buyer to be satisfied. He or She will have a fine car to enjoy for years to come. This model isn't of a regular production series. It's got a few of the special options. ********************* If this vehicle does not sell, we will be offering it for sale locally with trade options******************************
