TrukWorks engineers have just come out with the ultimate air filter for your Dodge Ram Cummins engine. The new TrukWorks air filters are constructed utilizing the finest materials available in the industry. The body of the filter is urethane as opposed to most competitors filters which are rubber. Urethane will not curl or crack with age like rubber will. From there TrukWorks utilized a proprietary staggered multiple layer cotton gauze filtering media, which is unique in the industry. The multiple layers of cotton gauze is sandwiched between two layers of the highest quality stainless steel mesh as opposed to the steel mesh most competitors use.

When the TrukWorks air filters were tested to SAE standard J726, which is a method for testing the fractional efficiency of a filter, the TrukWorks filters ended up capturing over 99.99 percent of particles of 10 microns or larger! In fact TrukWorks air filters are so efficient that they will trap particles all that way down to .5 microns and smaller!

TrukWorks air filters will match or outflow any competitors filters while still maintaining outstanding filtration capabilities. One of the tricks to the TrukWorks air filters high air flow is that there is no melted rubber on the filtering media like on most competitors filters have. Most competitors filters fuse the filtering media to the filter body using melted rubber. The rubber inevitably encroaches into 1/2 to 1 inch of the filtering media and blocks airflow. TrukWorks utilizes a urethane body and the the filtering media is held on to the body with an epoxy material, there is no encroaching of the epoxy into the filtering media and thus you get maximum airflow.
