I am selling the truck used in the movie "A SIMPLE PLAN" Featuring Billy bob Thornton, Bill Paxton, Brent Briscoe & Bridget Fonda. I purchased the truck from a member of the crew in 1999. His name is listed in the credits. I have the movie script and two hand held scripts that were used while filming in the truck. I also have a copy of the insurance policy that was left in the truck. The movie was filmed in the area of Delano Minnesota. There were three trucks built for this movie. This is the only one used through most of the movie if you watch the details of the truck you will notice only one other truck was used briefly. This is the only truck known left from the movie. It is the truck used to hit the tree in the movie and continued to be used throughout the rest of the filming. The truck has been sitting since 2000. It was driven into a storage shed and has not been started since. It does turn over and I am sure it will start if a battery is put in it. It has a 350 with a 3 on the tree. I have not washed or altered the vehicle in any way. Once you have washed the dust off you will see the work put into it. It has all the painted salt and the paint was made to bubble and look rough. Mind you the truck is in tough shape.... The tailgate is there and works it is just down in the pics. When I last drove the truck it ran awesome and was very powerful. It has front disc brakes. I do not have the title for it as I never intended to make it road worthy, I will provide bill of sale. I had planned on using it in parades. It is fun just owning a little peice of nostalga.
