These Polished Stainless Steel Challenger style boards with a 5" wide streamline side step, are available in black steel as well as the polished stainless steel boards you see here for almost all popular pickup trucks and suvs. The unique styling of these particular step bars have the great look and function with easy installation and the strength of running boards. With a 5" wide step, the Challenger style streamline side bars have 50% more step area than traditional tube steps. Custom molded end caps add an additional unique appeal.  Step pads are secured firmly with studs through board to ensure pads will not peal up over time and a 3M sealer prevents moisture from seeping under step area. The result is an OEM finished look.  The new innovative mounting brackets make installing the streamline side bar steps quick and easy and can be positioned to compliment individual needs.

 John's Product Review
 
The Challenger style Running Boards get my highest rating.  Call it 5 stars, 10 stars, 100 stars, call it whatever you want.  Here is the skinny.  There are 2 styles to choose from.  Black or Polished Stainless.  All Challenger style Running Boards come with custom mounting brackets and installation instructions, but the phone tech support is very helpful if you need some help.  Let me first start with the heavy duty packaging.  The first thing I noticed about my shipment I received was the excellent quality of the packaging.  The box had been shipped via FedEx Ground and still looked like it was just pulled off the shelf.  The running boards were packed so well that it would of been a real challenge to repackage them if I had to.  They must weigh around 40lbs a set, give or take a pound or so, and they are extremely sturdy.  The boards themselves are every bit as sturdy and strong as a stainless steel tube step or nerf bar.  The black molded step pad is first class.  It has several ridges which prevent water from freezing on the top surface and are great at getting mud and dirt off before getting the vehicle.  The step pad also has a nice looking lip hanging over the edge to prevent any wear on the corner of the running board.  Most running boards do not have that feature.  Did I mention how sturdy these were?  The molded end caps have a nice shape that offers some protection against mud and debris coming from the front tires.  I really like the nice polished shiny finish against my not so clean truck.
