On your 1971-1975 Chevrolet Impala, Caprice or Caprice Classic there is a drain apron and a drain apron support rod that is supposed to catch the rain water and direct it to the drain holes in the rear fenders of your car. Most times the drain apron rod is missing or rusted away from the water, if the drain apron is not properly installed the water will just run into the well and then into the trunk or on your floor.  Convertible Top Specialists now has available a new stainless steel drain apron rod made just like the original with all the proper bends, the difference is that we make ours out of stainless steel so you never have to worry about it rusting away.  This listing is for the stainless steel drain apron rod only, we have the vinyl drain apron available in a separate listing.
