KIRKER'S DARK PLUM METALLIC single stage acrylic urethane enamel offers a premium quality finish at minimal cost. KIRKER'S DARK PLUM METALLIC is a high gloss, durable paint designed for automotive and fleet refinishing when a top-of-the-line finish is desired. KIRKER'S DARK PLUM METALLIC provides a high degree of UV protection to help keep vehicles looking glossy and deep in color for years. Factory-packaged acrylic urethane colors were carefully selected based on overall popularity from year to year.

Mix ¾ gallon of KIRKER'S DARK PLUM METALLIC acrylic urethane enamel to one quart of activator (3:1). In most applications reducer is not required, however, if used, Kirker recommends the mix comprise no more than 10% of the appropriate temperature urethane reducer (Thinners & Reducers : Urethane Reducer). Kirker acrylic urethane clears (Clearcoat) may be applied as a topcoat or added into the final coat to increase gloss and durability.

Apply in two medium wet coats over properly prepared and primed surfaces. A third coat may be fogged as necessary to set metallic pattern evenly. Allow 5-15 minutes flash time between coats. At 68° F, KIRKER'S DARK PLUM METALLIC should be set to touch within 20 minutes, and dry within one hour. Pot life for mixed material is approximately 2 hours. Less for elevated temperatures.

Use UFE-8 Fisheye Eliminator in the first coat only if necessary.
