Hello Corvette Fans,

Today I have for auction a fully restored/rebuilt Corvette steering column
ready to go into your freshly restored car.
If you have been shopping for one recently, I know you are finding a lot
of good used columns, but, the prices are sort of high about now..
especially when you may have to have that oh-so-nice-in-the-pictures
column gone through before you can feel good about about installing it into
your 'Vette.
I bought this column here for one of my cars a few years back,
and it looks this good exactly because of that... I paid $600 2 years ago...
and put a $600 rebuild into it...
And now I am changing my priorities a bit (read this, I am in need of the cash)
I also have the handles for the turn signals, the horn cap and contacts,
and a selection of the necessary hardware that are included.
Please ask questions, I will answer them as honestly as I can. I am NOT
a steering column expert, but this column has been rebuilt by one here on
ebay (and I do recommend him)
The column is also for sale locally, so bid fast, bid high, bid often, so I
don't sell it to the first person who calls me on it.
Shipping will be in the arena of $35-$50 in the continental U.S.
Foreign bidders, low feedback, or bidders with ANY no pay strikes are
strongly encouraged to contact me first BEFORE bidding, or I must reserve
the right to cancel your bid..
Again, ask questions...this column is NICE,
and will make your Corvette easier to drive, and a bit more valuable.
From experience, I KNOW that with minor modifications (steering
wheel and hub assembly) that this column will function in 1976 Corvettes.
I also KNOW that it is NOT concourse correct for the earlier cars. (the
word "lock" on the upper column casting is not correct for those years,
but it will fit, and gauranteed to fit the 1969- 1976 models.
If you buy it now,do NOT pay without contacting me so I can
arrange for the least expensive shipping for you. thanks!
