NOTE: Keep in mind that a worn drive belt will not only impair performance but also consume much more gas. Maintenance schedule recommends inspecting / replacing the drive belt every 2500 miles. A good indicator of a worn drive belt is an over reving engine at a given speed, excessive belt dust within drivetrain compartment or a fixed black belt mark on the variator face.
