1973 Chevrolet Nova
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
You are looking at a 1973 Chevrolet Nova. I bought this car in Febuary with high hopes to make it a drag/street car. I don't have the time or money to restore this car. My loss is your gain. Body : The Bad: This car has only 2 rust spots on it. I have 2 pics of the spots, one is a hole in the drivers side floor pan and the other is along the drivers side rear quarter panel. The Good: The frame is solid underneath, there is no rust. There is no rust in the trunk. The car comes with both doors that are in good shape and have the glass in them. It comes with an SS hood that has some filler on it but no rust. Both bumpers are in great shape. It has a floor pan replaced on the passenger side. It needs the same thing done on the drivers side. The car has both front fenders and fender wells. In the trunks is all the chrome trim for the exterior of the car. Motor: The guy I bought it from said it had been rebuilt. As you can see the block has been painted up and it looks pretty fresh. I have never ahd the motor running, I haven't had time. It would need plugs, radiator, battery, and ignition to start it. It has an Accel HEI Super Coil, Weind Intake, Headers, Holley 4 bbl. Interior. The car comes with parts from 2 different interiors. It comes with 2 columns, 2 speedometer clusters, and various plastic interior parts. The one picture is a pile of all the interior plastic. Its really dusty because its been sitting inside. Some of the parts are green and some are black. The car is missing the front seats. The car has a 4 speed saginaw transmission that comes with a hurst shifter. I opened up the case and as you can see the gears look perfect. I went through the gears with it and the syncros go into all the gears. Main things its missing: Front seats, and other interior parts like carpet, headliner, front and back glass, front, grill, and the parts i mentioned to get it running. This car has great potential to be a drag car or a restored cruiser. 327 motors are hard to come by and you can make big power with them. I don't really know what's inside the motor, there could be after market pistons and cams, etc. I have right to end auction as it is for sale locally. You need to pick up the car in person or I would consider delivering for a fee, up to a certain distance away. I am located an hour from Louisville, KY and Evansville, IN. 3 hours from Cincinatti, Nashville, St. Louis, and Indy. If you have any questions feel free to ask them and happy bidding!
