This is a 1999 Corvette Convertible Z51 6spd in Nassau blue (very rare combination, I tried to do the math, and figured there are less than 300 made in this combo). This Corvette has been in our family since purchased off the lot brand new. I have only put a little over 10,000 miles on the car in 3 years, and I also have a folder filled with almost anything everything ever done to the car. The car has a aftermarket warranty (American Guardian Warranty Services) that expires 12/15/09, I believe it can be transferred for $50-75 but I can't say for sure. The tire and wheel package was $3400 new, and I put new tires on 2 yrs ago but have only driven the car about 5,000-6,000 (tires were $1,500) miles. Still plenty of life left in the tires, rear tires are 305's and fit well. I believe the car had 62,000 miles on it when I put a ZO6 clutch in the car that had been ported (makes the clutch easier to push in) and slave cylinder, pilot bearing, and flywheel (car had original clutch prior to this). I had the AC compressor replaced about a year ago and had the injectors cleaned about 3 yrs ago. The car has a Hall Tech intake (put in 2yrs ago), Borla race exhaust (still have stock exhaust) and a LS6 intake manifold (10hp and 15 lbs of torque), car runs extremely well. I believe a new transmission was put in under warranty around 30,000 miles. The car DOES NOT leak and the last time I took it to Van Chevrolet he said the car was clean and needed no more maintenence. I have pretty much done everything to the car that one should do by this mileage and more. I don't think you can find a cooler faster car for under $20,000. Most C5s look boring to me but this color makes a world of difference, I have only seen 1 other convertible this color and 1 or 2 coupes. There are some things wrong with the car. The front bumper is cracked ( I hit a coyote on a frontage road ), but it's not very noticeable because of where it's at. The keyless entry doesn't work. The driver seat is torn, and the back hatch is scratched underneath from a stereo box that was in there. I have a Alpine head unit in the car right now, but I will include the stock head unit. In the picture you may see a chord sticking out thats for the radar detector I will take that out. The e-brake needs new pads I believe, it doesn't work right now. The car has 70,000 miles so it's obviously not perfect but most of the big expensive stuff that most Vettes will need eventually has already been done. The door speakers have been replaced with Eclipse (nice speakers) and also has MTX tweeters. Stereo is very very clear. My favorite noise is from the engine, very unigque sounding car.
