I have an enclosed custom built trailer, that I had modified about 4 years ago, i bought it an an auction and it was just an open utility trailer, but I had a local fab guy totally enclose it and , then I had it totally sandblasted, then primed and painted. @ the time I drove a ford that was deep wedgewood blue, so that's the color it is, if you have one the same, then you're in luck. it is a dual axle trailer with 3500 pound ratings a piece for a total rating of 7000 pounds, the tires are mismatched but in good shape and good tread. the total length from the hitch to the tail is 14 1/2 feet long. the total height from the ground to the roof is 7 heet. the inside length from front to the door is 10 feet 4 inches long, I had it made that way so I could easily put in 10 foot lengths of conduit which it does so it wouldn't have to be outside of the trailer.
The door height is 63 inches and the door width is 34 inches. The total width of the trailer is 67 inches.
This trailer pulls nice and is easy to backup becuase it cuts hard. As you can see all the doors all open up from the outside and have a chain to hold them up once open. the drivers side front outside box has some dividers for small items, it would be easy to add more to the rest if needed. I am still looking for the keys for the outside 4 utility boxes, I had them changed but misplaced the key, But I do have the key for the backdoor, which works great and opens and locks like it should. I made some custom dividers on the inside for some of my electrical parts, and also a front shelf from plywood. the front of the inside of the trailer is notched if you notice, that is becuase I have a walk behind trencher that needs that to fit, but it does fit in the trailer with ease , which explains the dents on the inside of the back door when a strap came loose and got into the door, but it was built heavy duty enough that the door still opens and closes with ease.
I wired the trailer myself which you notice all the LED lights, which are awesome and work as they should, I also have 2 interior lights which will work when the lights are on and light the inside great. The toolboxes are 12 inches deep inside and out.
A couple minuses on this trailer, it never had any brakes, never were any installed but I had no problem stopping it.
It does have some scratches on the outside and some dings like you would expect and some surface rust you would expect in a few areas like you'd expect from using a trailer for work.
When I bought the trailer it didn't have a title, it also never had a VIN #, I did apply for a number from the state, but never finished the process, so you will have to apply for a VIN # to get license plates and insurance, I took my chances I guess, but I never used it too much .
This is a very unique trailer, that you could pull with a half ton truck, I had it built very heavy and has a lot of heavy steel in it, you could probably over load the axle's before it would break, but I never could. I also had the man install a heavy ladder rack on the top that is welded to the framework of the trailer, so I don't know how much weight you can hold up top, but a lot, I just had ladders up their, it's small enough you can fit it in a 8 foot garage door, but heavy enough for trenchers, material plumbing, electrical or whatever. Their is also a 2" receiver hitch in the rear, for whatever you would need, I had a custom mount made for a vice, that mounts inside, and would be willing to sell for an additional fee, let me know
I guarantee you will ,love it, and it is ready to work.
Any questions, or some more pics, let me know, will be glad to answer thanks for looking.
