Detailed Seller Ratings (DSR) The DSR Ratings are the 5 star ratings in my feedback profile. Most people think this 5 tiered rating is very similar to the typical school type grading system where 5 stars would be an “A” grade and 4 stars would be a “B” grade and so on. Ebay’s DSR grading system is not anything like the school grading system. A seller will get suspended for a total rating of 4.3 or less regardless of their feedback. This means that a rating of 4 stars is basically a failing grade and giving a 4 star rating will get a seller suspended and it only takes a very few 4 Star ratings to get suspended. I would ask that if you do choose to use the DSR Ratings, please leave a 5 star rating. Anything less than a 5 Star rating is a failing grade in Ebay’s Detailed Seller Grading System. Ebay doesn’t clarify the way their style of grading works (or doesn’t work) anywhere on their site, so I am clarifying it here.
