Beautiful 1985 Corvette Z51 hardtop convertible for sale to car enthusiast. I have spent a lot of time and money on this car, and it is in great shape. The interior is almost perfect, the leather is beautiful saddle tan, the dash is all digital, no cracks in the dashboard. There are so many things that came with and I put in this car, I would not be able to list them all. Blue book has this car close to $18.5k without all the upgrades, so you could turn around and sell this car for more. I just want it to go to a good owner, and the money to buy an old camaro I've been looking at restoring.

Features include:

L98 350cc engine with <78k original miles
Doug-Nash 4+3 Overdrive transmission
Rare Z51 performance package with Delco-Bilstein Shocks
9.5 inch wide wheels
Heavy duty corvette cooling system upgrade
Hypertech Performance Chip
Bassani custom built exhaust (it sounds amazing)
High Performance Comp Camshaft
Racing clutch
Brand new U-joints
All new gaskets
Performance Timing chain set
MSD Wires/Platinum Plugs
K&N Air Filter with custom intake
Plenum Spacer
Bose sound system with new XPLOD head unit built for ipod
Beight Red paint, with minor flaws. Custom decals and striping.
Stowable convertible roof for these beautiful afternoons
Additional set of corvette embroidered floor mats
Lots of documentation including original the original factory manuals, the book "100 Projects for your corvette", a Chilton Manual, and a Haynes Manual.
Corvette tie pin (haha)

Top speed: ~160

1/4 mile in 13.8 seconds @ 99mph

There was an article published by a corvette magazine on how to give your vette 100 more horsepower. I did all those things and more. This car is in great shape, it sounds incredible, and turns heads wherever you go. The only existing problems to my knowledge are the power locks occasionally do not work. There are a couple very small chips in the paint from stones, and a few stress cracks in the plastic bumpers, and one in the hood. I haven't gotten around to it, but they are easily fixed with some over the counter paint touch up. As you can see from the pictures, you can't really see them at all, I just know this car so well, I notice these things. The synchronizers on the reverse gear are a little iffy, so when I need to back out of a parking space, I usually shift into reverse before I turn the car on. Other than that, I am not aware of any other issues, like I said, I have to sell this car to get the $ for a new project, so even if the reserve is not met, contact me and maybe we could work something out.
