This is a very nice 1978 Vette. this was my project car and I got it were it was reliable. I have enjoyed it for a while and now its time to put it up for sale. The car is very nice but it is 31 years old so if you are a meticulous nut DONT BID. the odometer shows 39k miles but I am selling this odometer exempt. I am not the first and only owner so I am not going to swear by the miles. I dont think its rolled over though. the engine bay and and frame look to good to have 139k in my opinion. I am setting the reserve very low on this so it will go for a very reasonable price. I will list all the good and bad so that you can make a good decision when bidding. first the bad. The heater does not work, the dome light does not work, the power door locks dont work but you can lock the car from the outside. there is a spot of paint damage on the front bumper that is about 2"x1". now the good, the car has a new A/C compressor, new AC lines and a accumulator/drier, it has a new A/C control unit. it has a new guage cluster circuit board, new guage lenses, new defrost timer relay, new A/C relay (fan) it has a carpet kit installed and insulation from front to back. this made a BIG difference on noise. it has a new Alpine CD/MP3/ Bluetooth/AUX player with a custom C3 rear speaker box. new windshield wipers, a bulb kit was installed with over 30 new bulbs. it has new brake pads on the rear and all the fluids are fresh. i even flushed the brake fluid. all the gauges work except for the clock (the clock never works on a C3 vette) the transmission has been recently rebuilt and has about 8 months/11000 miles of warranty left. this is only good of you are local though. the engine has been recently rebuilt and is NUMBERS MATCHING! this is a ver clean, nice care and is VERY RELIABLE!
