This is a 1978 Corvette Indy Pace Car with only 800 MILES!

It was a one owner car until August of 09'. I bought it from the original owner.  I purchased the car from the original owners (Husband and Wife). It had a layer of dust on the car when pulling it out of their garage. It is the garage the car was in since new. Only taken out to drive in the spring and fall around the block. The owner only put in a few gallons of gas at a time so the fuel wouldn't go bad on him. He drove it in the spring and fall to make sure everything still worked and to make sure the brakes wouldn't freeze up on the car.

The car was never waxed since new but retains an excellent shine and finish. It was only rinsed off and wiped down with a soft towel. He wanted to keep it in the exact condition he took delivery of the car in back in 1978. It still smells like new inside and has all of the instruction tags, warning labels, protective plastic steering wheel wrap cover from delivery, pace car decals still in the box "Never Installed", and the original window sticker.

I have taken PICS of the underside of the car to show all the factory markings and originality of this Corvette. It is ready for NCRS Judging and you will not find a nicer, unmolested, 1978 Corvette Pace Car example anywhere.

It runs and drives like the miles....PERFECT! Still has the nipples on the sidewalls of the tires.

Please inspect the car or have someone inspect it for you prior to bidding. I want no misunderstandings as to the condition of the car once the auction is over. Sales tax applies to all Illinois residents and may apply to other states. Please ask seller for details regarding sales tax that may apply for the home state you live in.
