Unique Art Deco motorbike on sale!
It is a very special motorbike that is inspired by the atmosphere of '20s board track races. It is obvious from the paintjob that the main effect is triggered by the various copper coated parts and not the paintwork itself. Its design and shape are very aggressive: it symbolizes an attacking scorpion. That is why the name of this baby is "Scorpion".
This is a fully custom bike and is the only Art Deco motorcycle in the World!
The highlights of this tiny jewel are the followings: both engine side covers were customized by a long process of etchwork, brushing and polishing to make the appropriate “windows” on it. Then, the engine required a dry clutch that had to be invented, since the engine cover was not closed any more. Most of the visible parts are coated with copper so are the clutch assy’ and the sprocket-wheel. The intake manifold of the carburetor was turned from brass.
Compared to the photos, the end of the exhausters has been covered by copper. The motorcycle is in working condition, but owing to the special, copper coating it is not advised to use it, since polished parts could be ruined or scratched. Basically, it is rather a piece of art and not an every-day vehicle.
