1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

67 Chevelle Super Sport 138 Car I have owned this car for almost 21 years and has been garaged kept. Car has been in storage for the last 15 of those years. Car was partially restored between 1990-1993 and was parked in Sept 1994. Odometer is showing 645 I have put 3,000 miles on it since I have owned it. It has a clear title with a Kentucky Assigned Identification Tag see picture. It is an original 396 4 speed car with console, non-numbers matching. It was originally marina blue with blue bucket seats. The trim tag reads 67-13817 ATL11249 738B F-Fpaint 2LGS (4 Speed, Console, Rear Mounted Antenna) it has non-power drum brakes, no power steering, no air. I took a picture of trim tag but it wouldn’t turn out but this is what’s on the tag. It has new quarters, windshield, wheel well mouldings, rocker moulding, drip rail moulding, all other trim is original. Bumpers have been rechromed, and original steering wheel is good. Paint is 84/85 Corvette Flame Red. Body is in overall good shape and straight except for passenger door. It has one slight wave in the middle of the door and the very bottom of the door has waves. Car has no rust showing on the body except for the hood has some very small rust bubbles where the hood meets the fender that are just big enough to see. I tried to get a picture but it wouldn’t show up. It has been like this for a while but has never come through. The hood also has a slight bow on drivers side see picture. Floor pans are good except for under the pedals on the drivers side and on the same area on the passenger side. Just some rust through that have been patched no big holes. The worst part is the transmisson tunnel where the shifter comes through the floor. Someone had cut this area up for some reason and patched with aluminum plate. It doesn’t look good underneath but you can’t tell it from inside the car. It has Autometer tach and gauges and the interior was redone in 1990. It has no rips or tears. The seats are 69 model buckets with the headrest removed. The car doesn't have the correct 4 speed column it had been replaced with an automatic column before I got it for some reason. The engine is currently out of the car and apart as shown in the pictures. Engine had a pecking noise and was drove a couple of years like this. I took it apart to find where the noise was coming from and never put it back together. Could not find what the noise was. It is a 1970 402 block, casting numbers are 3969854 on the rear of the block and CE154210 on the front of the block. The CE stands for Chevrolet Engine it is a factory replacement block that’s why there is not an engine suffix code. The block is cast H-4-70. The heads are 1968 model 396 heads cast numbers are 3931063 with casting dates of L-3-8 and L-4-8. The intake manifold is a 1968 cast iron Q-jet with casting date L-5-8. The engine only has about 4,000 miles on it. Should just only need rings and bearings to complete short block. Also have a set of Hooker headers to go with it. Transmission is a Borg Warner Super T-10. Transmission is good but needs second gear synchro. It has a Hurst Competition shifter with handle. Also it has a Lakewood Blowproof Bellhousing and a Hays clutch kit with only about 500 miles on it. Rear end is a 12 bolt with all new bearings with Richmond 3.90 gears and No - Hop traction bars. Car has new ball joints and poly bushings in front end. Wheels are 15 x 8 and 15 x 5 Weld Pro Stars. Frame has had some rust that has been patched it could use a little more attention. The area is right in front of the back tires see pictures for details. If you would like to look at this car and parts in person, please do.
