This beautiful old truck lived an easy life as a grain truck in Illinois, used once or twice a year and kept in a building. I bought it 10 years ago and moved it to Georgia and have been using it to haul lumber and clean up around my rental houses. I had it painted and the grill re-chromed.The truck has no rust. The interior is original and lightly worn with a newer seat cover. The original inline 6 was overheated and locked down so I had a small block Chevy 400 engine fully rebuilt and professionally installed, bolted up to the original transmission. This engine is incredibly strong and runs all day at highway speeds. A new clutch was installed. The truck has a 2 speed rear end that works well but I just leave it in "high" because you dont need the lower gearing with the big motor. New rear axle seals and master cylinder were installed. The bed and sides are wooden with a metal cab protector. The tires are all good and the front the tires are brand new. It also has a nice new dual exhaust system. The hydraulic cylinder was rebuilt and re-sealed and works perfectly. All the glass is very good and has no cracks. This truck is ready to work and needs nothing. The state of Georgia will not "title" anything older than 1963 so this is sold with a Georgia bill of sale from me and the "open" Illinois title that you can fill in yourself.  When the new motor was installed we put a new Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock carburetor on it as well as electronic ignition and we converted everything to 12 Volts.
