1982 COLLECTORS EDITION CORVETTE
This car has less than 6800 original miles and is one of the best '82 Collectors on the market today. I urge serious buyers to come and view this corvette.
History:
The 1982 “C3” Corvette was the last of the innovative, sexy "Sharks" or "Makos" that were introduced in 1968. To mark the phasing out of the Shark series, a special "Collector Edition" was offered. There were only 6,759 Collector Edition Corvettes produced and all had to be specially orderd through a dealer.
The Collector Edition Corvette Coupe is powered by a 5.7 Liter 200 H.P. V8 Engine “L83”and a 4-speed automatic “C4” transmission. In addition to a higher level of options available, the limited Collector Series had a first time offered lifting rear hatchback window, special wheels similar to the 1967 bolt-ons, unique silver-beige paint, bronze tint T-Top roof, silver-beige leather interior, leather wrapped steering wheel, special emblems, body sides and hood sport graduated graphics, all part of the package. This was the first Corvette to sell in excess of $20,000.
The 1982 Corvette Collector marked the end of an era and is a highly sought-after corvette.
