Vehicle History Report Summary for 1967 Plymouth GTX GTX
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Up for auction is a 1967 Plymouth GTX equipped with it's original 440 4-barrel engine, it's original 4-speed transmission and Dana positract rear end. The car is an original black car with white interior just as you see it in the pictures. The car has it's original fender tag still in place and also has the original "Certicard" still in the holder on the core support by the battery showing that the car was sold new right here in the state of Missouri. The car has had one repaint several years back, we just wet sanded and buffed the paint to bring back a very nice shine to the car. The paint is great for a nice driver and local cruise ins but is not show quality. The car is very nice with no visable rust on any exterior body panels or trunk. The floors are also very solid with no undercoating. The engine was also rebuilt several years back and still runs great, the engine is stock with the exception of a mild cam upgrade and an edelbrock carburetor. The engine has a great muscle car sound at idle and runs out very strong while maintaining driveability with ease. The transmission and rear end also perform great with no issues. The car drives down the highway very smooth and is a pleasure to drive. All of the gauges and speedometer work as they should, the radio comes on but has a hard time tuning in a station. There was an aftermarket oil pressure gauge added to monitor the cars vitals, the car carries very strong oil pressure. As you can see in the pictures the car still retains most of it's original interior. The seats and door panels are showing some age but also show the originality of the car. The headliner and carpet are both in excellent condition as well as the dash pad. The car was last driven on a regular basis in 2001 and was stored the last couple of years. We just went around the car changing oil and filter, flushed the cooling system, replaced the rear brakes and some other miscellaneous items to insure that the car is ready to be driven on a daily basis. The spare tire and jack assembly are also still in the trunk. This is a great looking rare muscle car that is fun to drive. You are more than welcome to come and inspect the car in person. I also reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. Please feel free to email or call with questions. For basic questions please email.
