ALL STEEL 1930  FORD MODEL A STREETROD

PLEASE READ
FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE  BIDDING!!

Up for auction is our 1930 Ford Model A - 5 Window Coupe on ‘32 rails that is owned by my brother and I. This streetrod is ALL STEEL. The body is original and ALL FORD. It is titled and registered as a 1930 Ford with it's 1930 VIN.  It ONLY HAS 1804 MILES on it since the build. My brothers and I are very much into cars and we have several. We have owned this particular car for the last three years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. However, it is time to let this one go and let someone else cruise it.

Please note that this is NOT a fire sale and we do not need to sell it. It’s just time to move on and look for another toy. Therefore, please do not bother or insult me by sending lowball offers. We’re asking a legitimate and fair price for a very nice and well built car. We understand that this is not a “Barret Jackson Auto Auction” and therefore we have no intention of retiring off this car.  But, with that said, we also know what this car is worth. This was not a cheap or low buck build. All top brand parts were used to construct this car.

This car comes with a CLEAR, CLEAN AND FREE TITLE. We owe nothing on it, and ownership transfer will happen as soon and funds are transferred.

Do not be alarmed by my feedback, as I don’t use ebay too often. As you can see, I have been a member since October of 2006 and I am also a verified ebay member.  My son usually does the listing and bidding for me but he’s not around for this sale.

The car will also come with a BRAND NEW California Car Cover- a $250 custom cover for the ultimate in protection.

This car has been a great car for us. It runs great and we have never had a problem with it (except for an occasional drip). The body and paint are also in great condition with very, very few and minor imperfections. The flames really set it apart.

You can see video of the car on you tube at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEUsvOQTRD0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAa7Al3mZ4I

The ’30 is equipped with a front disc brakes, a 2” chop, 1932 Cornhusker frame, ’40 dash, Chevy 350 4 bolt / 350HP motor and 5 speed GM t5 trans. The rear is a 9” Ford. It also has a Clarion AM-FM-CD radio and cold blowing Vintage Air A/C and heat. The front grille is a ’32 polished from LoBeck’s. The Wise Guys seating is leather.

Other name brands used in the build are VDO gauges, Walker radiator, Ron Francis wiring, Wise Guy’s seat Lecarra steering wheel, Sanderson headers, Flowmaster exhaust, Softseal gaskets and Limeworks column to name a few. The body is original Ford Steel with BrookVille Roadster steel front and rear fenders and steel running boards. It also has Brookville Roadster 4” recessed firewall. The wheels are American racing 15x7 front and 15x8 rear Torque Thrusts.

The build started in 2002 and ended in 2006. It was built in Oklahoma.  We purchased it in November of 2006.
The high bidder will be provided copies of ALL OF THE RECIEPTS AND MANUALS FOR THE PARTS. The cost of the parts was $22,494 alone. This DID NOT INCLUDE motor, trans, original car purchase or cost of body and paint work. That’s $22K in parts alone that went into this car. Obviously, this build cost A LOT MORE!!

We will also provide copies of the build photos to the high bidder. (I’ve also included a few in the auction photos.)

The car is located in Wayne, New Jersey 07470 and I encourage you to please come see it before you bid. However, you must make an appointment by emailing me at mtlgrinder@aol.com or calling me (Jeff) at 973-222-7892. I have nothing to hide with this car and I doubt you will be disappointed.

NOTE: THIS AUCTION INCLUDES THE 1930 MODEL A FORD AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS PLUS THE CALIFORNIA CAR COVER, MANUALS AND RECEIPTS. NOTHING ELSE IS INCLUDED!

PAYMENT:

I MUST RECEIVE FULL PAYMENT WITHIN 5 DAYS CLOSE OF AUCTION. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!  I will accept payment in the form of cash or via certified bank check. I DO NOT accept personal checks ever.

SHIPPING RELATED INFORMATION:

I may (at my discretion and only if I want to..) assist with delivering the car on an open car trailer up to 150 miles (one way) from Wayne, New Jersey for a delivery fee of $250. However, you must make this arrangement with me BEFORE you bid if you expect me to do it. If I agree to deliver it, I will only deliver the vehicle at a mutually agreed upon time when it is convenient for ME and I have already been PAID IN FULL. That means you MUST PAY IN FULL before I load the car on the trailer.

If this agreement is not reached…I WILL NOT DELIVER THE CAR.

ANY TRUCK SHIPPING WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE NEW BUYER/HIGHEST BIDDER IF THEY WANT TO SEND IT ELSEWHERE. IF YOU WIN IT AND WANT TO SHIP IT, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT AND HAVE SOMEONE COME GET IT.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

If you do not agree with my terms, DO NOT BID. If you are the high bidder and fail to pay, I will follow up with every legal avenue I have available. This is not a game, but a legally binding contract.

I offer a hassle free transaction and I expect the same in return. I try to describe my items as accurately as possible. I do not want to waste my time or yours by inaccurately describing items. However, everyone has a different opinion and description for what they are looking at. Therefore, if you have any questions, please email me at mtlgrinder@aol.com before you bid so I can try to answer them. Also, to avoid any questions of the description, please contact me and come see the car. This is a very nice build, and not something just slapped together.

SINCE NOBODY READS THE LEGAL PART, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

This 1930 Model A is for sale locally, as well as in a number of other venues, so I reserve the right to end this auction early. The car is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied.

By placing a bid on this Model A you are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the above-described car.  Please do not take this lightly as I will pursue any and all legal recourses I can for non paying bidders.

This is not a fire sale.  I am looking for a legitimate price from a legitimate buyer. Please don’t waste my time or yours with lowball offers.

Please have your funds ready BEFORE you and I reach an agreement and/or you bid.  Nothing would be more frustrating than for me to have to sit around while you fill out your loan credit applications.  If this happens, I will move on to legitimate buyers and (minimally) I will leave you negative feedback and most likely pursue additional legal avenues. If you win the auction, you bought the car.

Please don’t waste my time with silly payment schemes, or other trades. If I wanted to trade something, I would have stated that and I wouldn’t have this listed as an auction. I am not your bank, your broker, or your father. I seek payment in cash or via certified bank check upfront and it its entirety.  And, make sure you get your wife’s permission before you hit the bid button.

The payment will be consummated in a manner agreeable to both the buyer and the seller, but with assurances to the seller (that’s me) of certainly of funds.  In other words, payment must be via Cash or certified bank check.  No personal checks ever, no lines of credit, or pledges from your 401K plan please. NOTE: IF YOU PAY VIA CERTIFIED BANK CHECK, I WILL NOT RELEASE THE CAR OR TITLE UNTIL I VERIFY WITH THE ISSUING BANK AND MY BANK THAT THE CHECK IS LEGIT AND VALID.

I will not be responsible for any shipping related expenses----PERIOD.

NOW THE LEGAL PART THAT NOBODY EVER READS:

HIGH BIDDER MUST CONTACT ME WITHIN 24 HOURS CLOSE OF AUCTION AT mtlgrinder@aol.com.

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN FULL WITHIN 5 DAYS CLOSE OF AUCTION. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN THE FORM OF U.S. CURRENCY IN EITHER CASH OR CERTIFIED BANK CHECK.  I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS FROM BIDDERS WITH NEGATIVE OR NO FEEDBACK. IF YOU HAVE EITHER NEGATIVE OR NO FEEDBACK, YOU MUST CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL AT mtlgrinder@aol.com PRIOR TO PLACING BIDS OR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RETRACT YOUR BID.

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS OR DO NOT PLAN TO COMPLETE TRANSACTION. BY BIDDING ON THIS ITEM, YOU ARE AGREEING TO A BINDING CONTRACT TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AND WHATEVER OTHER LEGAL RECOURSE IS AVAILABLE.
THIS IS NOT A GAME BUT A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT. IF YOU ARE THE HIGH BIDDER, YOU BOUGHT THE CAR AND I EXPECT YOU TO PAY. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY FOR WHATEVER REASON I CHOOSE. THAT INCLUDES IF I DECIDE TO SELL THE CAR LOCALLY OR EVEN IF I JUST DECIDE TO DO SO. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT BID.

PLEASE EMAIL ME AT mtlgrinder@aol.com  or call Jeff at 973-222-7892 TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS.

PLEASE NOTE:  We just saw that we listed the frame as a '32 when it's actually a Cornhusker stage 3 - '28-'31. Sorry for the mistake. Any other question, please email me. Thanks
