Once installed, locate an area near the drivers seat to adjust the tuner. When the tuners boost dial is low, you should see a gain of about 7-10 HorsePower and should get the same gas mileage as stock. When you turn the boost up, you should see a gain of about 15-22 horsepower. At full boost gas mileage will decrease about 2mpg but what will you care when your getting all the extra power!!!


 TThe Progressive Tuner simply wires into the factory harness of the IAT sensor. The module will work with the sensor to provide a new signal to your vehicles computer, or ECU. The ECU then adjusts your air/fuel and timing advance curves to new performance settings. Our progressive tuner eliminates costly parts and installation of ECU components (many other ECU mods require you to solder and modify the main board), and still safely and legally provides the same end results. There is no risk of damage to the engine or electrical system since the modified sensor signal will always remain within the manufacturer’s recommended specifications. The Module works in conjunction with your vehicles ECU and will not affect engine reliability. Installation is very simple. All instructions are included and install should take about a 1/2 hour. The Progressive Tuner can even quickly and easily be removed or re-installed at any time.

Q: Will this void my vehicles warrantee or service contract?  Is this legal?

A:  No, it will not void most warrantees.  The module can easily be removed, leaving no trace of any modifications.  You can then reinstall the mod at any time.  It's completely reversible!  This modification is perfectly legal.

 

Q: Will this damage my vehicle?

A:  Absolutely not.  Since the new sensor signal will always remain within the manufacturer's specifications, there is no risk of damage to your engine or electrical system.

 

Q: What type of performance and horsepower gains will I experience?

A:  Average gains experienced with the Performance Power Module are anywhere from +7 to +22hp (actual horsepower ratings will vary between different vehicles).  You will also notice increased engine response and/or increased acceleration.

 

Q: What is an ECU?

A:  An ECU acts as the "brain" of your vehicle, and keeps your engine running.  It receives data from different sensors and consequently adjusts the level of air/fuel injected into the engine, as well as the timing advance settings of the cylinders.

 

Q: Does installation of this kit require any special skills or tools?

A:  All you need is about 30 minutes of your time.  No special skills are required.  Basic tools are required because you need to splice 2 wires together and that's it.  Its that simple!
