This is a complete kit for an electronic ignition. This comes with all new distributor, coil, plug wires, and ignition module.

The Ready to Run distributor is the perfect upgrade for outdated points distributors or bulky HEI's. This is made for small block Ford 351W.

The Ready to Run features:

• Adjustable mechanical advance which allows you to custom tailor an ignition curve to match your engine's needs.

• A maintenance free magnetic pickup accurately triggers a high output internal ignition which easily out performs stock ignitions.

• It will Smooth out the engines idle, improve starting and provide a much higher RPM range.

• Improve stability and endurance, via an oversized steel shaft spins in a top mounted sealed ball bearing.

• An extra long sintered bushing guides the shaft at the base of the housing.

• There is also a vacuum advance canister to help improve economy.

All that is required is to install the distributor in the engine, connect two wires and you're Ready to Run.

This kit includes spiral core 9.3 mm plug wires provide the voltage carrying capability of a metal conductor with the benefit of static suppression.  The spiral wound steel alloy conductor lowers the voltage resistance to about 40 - 50 ohms per foot.  The plug wires come with two layers of fiberglass braid that provide unsurpassed resistance to stretching while providing less resistance allowing more spark.  Both ends have plug boots and work for over and under header applications.

The coil included in this kit is a high performance E-core coil.  This coil provides 70% more spark that stock coils and is much more reliable.  These coils are ideal for most street, strip, circle track, and drag racing applications.  Internally, this coil has large gauge wire windings for maximum current and voltage with better heat dissipation at the higher RPM's.

This kit also features the PROCOMP iginition module. It is a multi-spark, capacitor discharge, electronic ignition designed for high performance street, drag racing, oval track, and marine applications. The PC6AL uses the latest state of the art digital technology, and when used with the Procomp high performance coil (PC - 91), produces a spark gap current three times greater than most similar systems and almost eight times the spark of the standard ignition. This unit can be triggered by magnetic, hall effect, points and crank trigger pick ups. Includes a soft touch rev limiter, which does not require chips. Produces multiple sparks between 0 and 3000 RPM
