UP FOR AUCTION!!!
What we have up for auction is a very unique Rat Rod!!
Like a lot of cars built in this style, there are parts ofa few different
cars and a lot of imagination put into the build of this Rat Rod!!
The motor is a fresh 283 with a new tunnel ram and carbs.(600 cfm Holleys)
Cooling is handled by a 3 core radiator with an electric fan.
Fuel is supplied by a very cool MOON tank attached in the rear
of this Rat Rod!!
A Turbo 350 trans with cooler handles the shifting duties. The exhaust
exits via a very cool set of chrome Zoomies with baffles inside.
Currently the generator is NOT hooked up.
Front suspension on the car is a 40 Ford with split wishbones
attached to a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" boxed tube frame. The frame
has been z'ed in the rear to accomodate the 10 bolt GM rear axle.
There are shocks on all four corners
The unique body includes Model T tail lights, 1912 Mercer Raceabout
Headlights (we believe) with sealed beams inside. The doors on this
tub do open but most people only step over them to get in and out, as
the top of the windsheild visor is only 41" tall!!
The interior consists of an indian blanket covered seat, a 15" boat
steering wheel, chain link gas pedal and a Harley brake pedal.
The brake system is new including the master cylinder brake lines
and brake hoses. The tires are bias ply wide whites on all four corners.
This car runs strong and is a blast to drive!!
It has been driven in and around car shows for the past
summer. It was built last year as a winter project and is now
time to let it go and start on the next winter project.
Take this car to the next level or just enjoy it as is.
The car has a clear 1927 Oakland touring title.
I'm listing this car for a friend of mine. If you have any question,
please send them to me. If you would like to talk directly to him,
send me your phone number and I will relay it to him.
