This magazine is among the first serious Mopar magazines on the market.
Over the years it has evolved quite a bit; in its early days it focused on technical pieces, then later switched to the "standard" format of a mix of tech and feature cars, and finally in its later days went back to emphasizing tech as it sought out its niche in the Mopar marketplace. Its constant name-changing probably didn't help with its identity crisis: in 1991 it changed to Performance for the Chrysler Car Enthusiast, and again in the late 1990s it changed to Chrysler Car Enthusiast Engines Etc. Regardless, the magazine regularly featured unusual cars and the tech articles could be counted on to be fairly in-depth.
