This is a 1998 V8 in very good condition. The body has an excellent finish, never been in a wreck. Please note the car does have 32,500 miles on it, BUT a Brand New Crate Engine from lotus was placed at ~30,000 by BMW of Southbay ( formally Lotus of SouthBay as well), Hermosa Beach, california just prior to me purchasing the car. By their report it had defective engine cam covers and require new engine. I have the paperwork to support this and also contacted Dave Simikin, director of Lotus USA to verify this is, and this is what in deed happened prior to my purchase. I have since had the car for 2 1/2 years with NO issues!!! Recently I had the wheels powder-coated black, added a push button starter and recent new brakes/filters and oil change which were done only 100 miles ago... Basically this a an extremely strong running car with and engine/power train that is almost brand new!! ( The cost of a new engine from lotus itself is around $40,000). The car comes with Two tops, both glass and black...The a/c works great, interior is in very good shape, some upgrades as noted in the pics, and I never used the cigarette lighter so i had a push button starter added.
