Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this very nice, driver-level 1962 Porsche 356B T6 1600S coupe, in correct colors of Ruby Red over black interior, believed to be a 3-owner car. It has just 84,046 "Box A" (actual) miles, with service records dating back to 1983, and complete original factory service manual.

This car was ordered new from the factory with many options, including full leather upholstery, front seat headrests, ventilated chrome wheels (date correct), and Michelin tires. This car has been issued a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, which validates the originality and correctness of this car.

From new this car has been in the dry Southwest. It’s equipped with its original 1.6 liter 4-cylinder air cooled engine, fed by dual Zenith carburetors. The 4-speed gearbox shifts very smoothly.

Mechanically the condition is very good, but the paint does show its age and there are some minor chips in the paint. The chrome is complete and present, but there is some minor pitting on the chrome in places. All of the glass is good. It would take very little to bring this car up to the next level, or it can be driven and enjoyed just the way it is.

The very high resolution photos are included to give you a very clear assessment of the car. You are encouraged to click on the images and view them in full size. The car has absolutely zero rust. Newly installed are front wheel wells (pitted through the metal so we decided to replace them), and we are touching up some minor paint chips.

The interior is clean and very presentable. It has been refreshed with new front leather seat covers, and the carpet appears to be original. There are no tears or rips in the headliner. All of the instruments, lights, etc work as they should. The car runs within normal temperature ranges, and it doesn’t make any noises other than that pure Porsche exhaust note!

The driving experience of this car will impress you. It runs smooth, and it shift very nicely and precise. We drive Porsche 356 model cars very often, and this is one of the nicest driving examples we’ve driven. It’s a real pleasure and easy to drive.
