What we have here is AN ORIGINAL 1967 PLYMOUTH RO23 HOOD SCOOP for a SUPER STOCK FACTORY PREPPED CAR. THE DODGE CORONET WO23 used the same scoop. The scoop retains it's original paint. You talk about a RARE PART - there were only 55 RO Plymouths made in 1967 and about the same number of Dodges. A lot of the scoops got trashed, cut up, modified, or just tossed. HARMS makes a darned good copy, but it is a little taller and a lot heavier. I have one of Harm's scoops and I compared them for some time. I ended up with this scoop after I spent a fortune to find an original for my car and then I had to restore that scoop... that car has been since finished and sold. The car in the photo does not go with the scoop nor did the scoop come on this car. I just used the car to illustrate the SCOOP that is for sale here. Yes, it seems like a lot of money, but if you have an original car and want an original SCOOP, here is one and probably not many more out there. I also have some other Super Stock items for sale in other auctions. I have a set of 15" X 6" steel wheels that will take the original 10-1/8" poverty dog dish stock hub caps - not cheap either.
