When I first brought this in the manufacture said that for the early 1962 the buyer just needs to cut the sides down. But later we found that there were other differences that is very hard to work around. They Finally molded the 1961-1962.5 We now the early style posted on another listing. The chemicals used will result in a good feel (feels soft to me) along with a non-painted look. The wrecking yard has plenty in the same shape as yours. Upholstery shops are not much help either. Vinyl repair is at best temporary and at its worst looks better with the cracks. If money is no object, check out Just Dashes. They do great work, but you'll pay for it & wait up to 12 weeks. This may be your only way to have your dash pad look good again.
