Up for auction this week is an Antique Montgomery Ward. Briggs & Stratton 2.0 HP Engine. After an item is over 31 years old it is considered an antique. According to the code this engine was manufactured in 1978. I am selling this item for a friend. He found it in one of his rental houses. We are selling it for parts because we don’t know anything about this engine. But we are not small engine experts. So it is being sold as a bunch of assembled parts. There is no guarantee this engine will run. We removed the spark plug, looking down the spark plug hole you can see the piston go up and down. The engine does have spark.  The numbers on the fan shroud are: Model=60202 Type=-0855-02 Code=7804050. The shaft diameter is approximate .626 inches. People have told me they have paid more than the asking price for a few parts alone. The oil has been removed for shipping. Please don’t watch this item.
