This was removed from a 1969 Ford Thunderbird 429/360hp engine which I still have complete and will be offering in components and/or whole in futire auctions. Also teh C6 and 9" rear end.  The air cleaner is very solid having rust in the cavity which is more like rust scale. I see no discernbale pitting and again, it is very solid-just sorta unsightly. There is also to a much lessor degree some light surface rust on the lid as pictured, again-nothing discernable and very solid. The lid has a slight deprsion type dent in it-small and no crease. I did it while taking pics inadvertingly dropping it on the floor. Easy fix. Although I believe this most likely has multiple year & model applications, please verify your particular application before bidding. Cheap minimum-NO RESERVE w/$18.00 (oversized) FedEx w/insurance & tracking.
