ORIGINAL Chevrolet "Service News" Magazine. Volume 36, Number 4, dated April 1964.  IN THIS ISSUE: Servicing the NEW breakerless (electronic) ignition system RPO K66 - Corvette 327 - 365 & 375HP  and Impala SS 409 340, 400, & 425hp V8 - , 1964 fuel injection specs corrected,  & MORE - CHEVROLET SERVICE NEWS magazines were published by the Chevrolet Service Department of General Motors. They were distributed to Chevrolet Dealers (and not to the general public) to assist their Servicemen in new vehicle models, service, repair, maintence of the different Chevrolet models. Also, when GM would discover a problem with a vehicle, it would be published on how the Serviceman would need to correct it. If parts were superseded, the old and new part numbers would be published. Every issue contains different information. Some things contained in the different issues are: photos, line drawings, exploded views of parts, part numbers, new model year annoucement changes, service tips, repair and maintenance, troubleshooting, recommendations, removal and installation procedures, dimensions, specifications, capacities, wiring diagrams, and much more! Some of the items covered are: Carburetoration, air conditioning, transmission, engine, electrical, emission, brakes, exhaust, ignition, steering, suspension, drivetrain, wiring, body repair, painting and much more! It would take forever to list what each and evey issue contained! Working on your Classic Chevrolet? Get some help from the experts that worked on it back in the day! Have these sitting on the seat of your Classic Chevrolet at the next car show! This magazine is in very nice condition-it looks like it was read once and put away into the binders I got them in! Has a slight musty oder from years of storage. Why get a cheesy reprint (if you can find it) when you can have the real thing? .. Selling off duplicates in my vast collection of vintage automotive catalogs..  I Aquired this item from a retiring mechanic's inventory of 50 year's worth of leftover odds & ends. Watch my future auction for 1000's more vintage parts, manuals, & catalogs coming online as I get the time to list them! .. sold as is ....Positive feedback ALWAYS given with EVERY completed transaction. NO RESERVE.  Yes, you may combine shipping on multiple items. -FILE PHOTO SHOWN OF RANDOM CHEVY SERVICE NEWS SHOWN IN PHOTO, ITEM IN THIS AUCTION IS DIFFERENT, THESE ALL LOOK ABOUT THE SAME & CONTAIN TONS OF IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND INFO - d5271
