Quality:
Gold nuggets are produced by nature and should be left as found. The most specimens would contain very small parts of host-rock like quartz and/ or hematite. Acid cleaning and polishing changes the appearance and should be avoided for collector’s items.
Native gold don’t exist in ‘pure’ 24-karat quality. Depending on its origin it contains 75 – 96% fine gold the rest being silver and traces of base-metals.
We’re located in the East Murchison/ Western Australia one of the world oldest geological formations producing extremely fine gold of 92 – 96% (22 to 22.56-karat).
Gold needs to be refined to reach 999.99 (parts by thousand) bullion qualities!
Pricing:
Most of the World’s industrial nugget production ends up in the melting pot. To ovoid this – nuggets must be priced at the actual gold value plus a fair premium for hand-mining, selecting, cleaning and publishing.
The beauty and rarity of each specimen needs to be taken in consideration as well. Gold-Nuggets are rarer than diamonds!
