This is a new spin on an ancient symbol. The eye within the hand is known as the Hand of Fatima, Hand of Miriam or the Hamsa, and also exists outside of the middle eastern traditions, again as a symbol of protection. This was seen as defense against the "evil eye", that is the malevolent gaze of someone who feels envy or jealousy for you. That used to be seen as a type of natural black magick and this was its defense. This is a symbol of empowerment and protection for any age.

What is for sale is a very high quality 11x17 inch reproduction. Each print comes nicely sealed in plastic with a hard mat backing and an information sheet. Each sale will also include a pair of nifty 3-D glasses and a small selection of postcards, bookmarks and possibly a sticker or two. Shipping costs for each additional print is $0.45 for small and $0.75 for large prints.
