PLANT INFORMATION

Walter's Gardens (2004). Large [26" tall x 36" wide]. White flowers appear mid season.

PP#16290. A newer sport of "Northern Exposure". Nearly round, puckered leaves emerge in Spring with greenish-yellow centers, chartreuse streaking and blue-green margins. As summer progresses the center lightens up to an off white and the jetting streaks turn apple green. A 'brighter' shaded location will enhance the white center.  Some say the corrugated leaves are 'works of art' and look hand painted!  The white flowers appear on 30" scapes in mid Summer.  A beautiful specimen upon maturity.  Fertile.

***This plant is so special that it is protected by a plant patent. Only qualified nurseries are permitted to offer it. Asexual reproduction is strictly prohibited.***

Hostas grow well in USDA Zones 3-9.  Hostas prefer a partly shady to mostly shady location.  Our hostas are sold potted and growing in deep 3" pots -  giving your plants a stress-free growing head start and making your planting very easy.  Our 2nd year plants have been over-wintered here in the Midwest to ensure strength and hardiness.  This offer is for 1 professionally grown, healthy, disease-free plant.

We ship to the United States only.  Here is our suggested shipping schedule:

Shipping to Southern States:  Winter purchases begin shipping mid March.  Purchases made April - October are shipped immediately.

Shipping to Central States:  Winter purchases begin shipping mid April.  Purchases made May - October are shipped immediately.

Shipping to Northern States:  Winter purchases begin shipping mid May.  Purchases made June - October are shipped immediately.

Your plants can be shipped ANYTIME.  You are always welcome to select a custom ship date.  Kindly note that plants requested to be shipped November - March will be dormant.  Local customers are welcome to pick up their purchases to avoid shipping charges.  All orders are shipped via U.S.P.S Priority 2-3 day Service.

FREE SHIPPING!  After you pay for shipping once, all additional purchases with us are mailed free of charge.  This special is valid for items shipped at the same time, to the same address.  You will never pay more than $5.99 for shipping!

We pack all of our items very carefully.  All orders contain nothing less than the best of quality.  Unfortunately after your package leaves our hands we can no longer control this quality.  Since the care for your purchase is in the hands of a delivery service after it leaves our nursery we recommend shipping insurance.

Kindly note that plants shipped after July 1 may have some foliage trimmed back.
