Welcome to OrangeOnions.com where our name truly says it all! What you may be thinking right about now is - "huh?" We know. We thought that too. If you look in Webster's dictionary under the term “orange onion” you'll find... nothing. However in our dictionary, orange onions mean ALOT. It has come to be synonymous with quality merchandise at bargain basement prices. Not to mention our pride and joy - our world renowned (at least we like to think so) CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Company History
When we founded Orange Onions in Cleveland, OH back in 2005, we had one goal in mind. One singular focus around which everything at Orange Onions would revolve. Namely – We set about trying to create an online retail utopia. You see, every day, in cities across our great country, millions of “ retail shoppers” (OOin [slang used at the Orange Onions Corporate headquarters] for "innocent people being taken advantage of" as opposed to OO shoppers – brilliant people who demand the highest level of customer service and the lowest prices) aimlessly stroll the aisles of their neighborhood Wal-Mart or Target, searching for the nearest "deal" or "clearance item" (OOin for "drastically overpriced item which is currently selling for only 30% above market value"). Well, one day as we were scouring the electronics aisle at a local Target, we had an epiphany. We said to ourselves (not in middle of the electronics aisle at Target naturally, we may have gotten some funny looks.) “There has to be a better way”. And so began the Orange Onions legacy.
A legacy is born
In order to keep the overhead low, we started in a garage (7’6” to be exact). We wanted a product line that people would find useful and enjoyable and yet would not have to sell their mothers in law on eBay to afford. Thus began OrangeOnions.com. Within a few short months, the garage was bursting at the seams and OrangeOnions moved to a sprawling warehouse on Cleveland’s east side. This has enabled us to continue to grow our inventory of quality, yet affordable items. What’s our secret? We don’t have one. At Orange Onions, we have one simple goal in mind – to provide our customers with that online utopian feeling. C’mon, you know what we mean.
Where we are today
Today, Orange Onions continues to grow at a pace that nobody foresaw back in the garage days. Our customers, or Onionoids, as some of our customers like to be called, (we don’t actually know if they LIKE to be called Onionoids, but we call them that and nobody has called us to complain- don’t worry it is complimentary!) keep coming back for more and thankfully bringing new customers in tow. We like to think of ourselves as the company that’s “By the customer, For the customer”. In keeping with that theme, we welcome and encourage customer feedback. Any questions, comments and suggestions on what we can do to enhance your online shopping experience are welcome and appreciated. We’re here to work for you. We’re not a faceless corporate giant whose only concern is the almighty dollar. We’re here for you. And thankfully, unlike some other companies we know, we have yet to ask for a government bailout.

Shipping Policy:
We will ship your order as fast as possible, typically 1-3 days. An email, with any available tracking information, will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped. We use USPS FedEx and UPS for shipping, depending on the item size, weight, etc. Items that are oversize or heavy may ship separately. Most items will offer a shipping method choice to the buyer at the time of purchase.

Priority Mail: Orders are shipped via US Priority Mail and delivered within 3-6 business days of when you place your order (military addresses may take longer). Upon shipment of your order, you will be emailed a shipment confirmation and a delivery confirmation number so you can confirm that your order has shipped.
FedEx Shipping Options:FedEx Ground, 3 Day, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air are available as shipping options within the 48 contiguous United States. For Ground, 3 Day, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air you will be charged based on the weight of your order as calculated using the shipping rate table. Shipping options may vary based on the product(s) ordered. This shipping charge will appear in your shopping cart as you finalize your order BUT before your credit card is charged so you can review this amount. Upon shipment of your order, you will be emailed a shipment confirmation and a tracking number so you can track your order.

Canadian Orders:All Canadian orders are prioritized and shipped via UPS. Please note that buyer is responsible for any applicable duties, custom fees, and taxes. Canadian shipments usually arrive in just 5-10 days.

Ordering Notes: Canadian Orders and all orders shipped outside the contiguous United States may be subject to additional shipping fees. Please note that not all items are available for shipment outside the contiguous United States or to APO/AFO addresses.

Damaged Shipments:
We make every effort to safely secure and ship all packages, but we understand that sometimes merchandise can be damaged during the shipping process. Merchandise damaged during shipping should be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt. We will contact the shipping company for visual inspection of the merchandise and box. We will then issue you credit for the amount of any confirmed damaged merchandise or ship replacement merchandise to you.
Return Policy:
All return requests MUST be obtained via e-mail, we do not accept return requests over the phone. Merchandise must be returned in unopened, unused, sellable condition in order to receive credit. Full credit will be issued for unopened merchandise returned within 5 days of your receipt of shipment. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to authorized returns received after 15. Product returns cannot be accepted after 30 days. A 15% Restocking fee applies to all eBay and Amazon purchases regardless of time frame.
Products that are under warranty must be returned to the warranty center. If there are any problems we will be happy to help filing the warranty. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Back Orders:
We regularly stock every item we carry. Although every attempt is made to maintain inventory of each product we carry, occasionally we may run out of certain products. In this event, we will give you an estimated time of availability and give you the choice of canceling the out-of-stock items, holding off shipment of your entire order until the product is available, or receiving a partial shipment of the in-stock items first and the out-of-stock items when they are available. No additional shipping charges will be incurred by the customer for these partial shipments.
International Shipping Restrictions:
1) We cannot be responsible for any tariffs, customs restrictions or other regulations that apply in countries outside the United States. We encourage you to speak with your customs office if you have any questions.
2) Do not order items that are illegal to import into your country. Laws are different in every country. It is the customer's responsibility to check with their Customs office to see if their country permits the shipment of our products to their country. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to orders returned by customs as "illegal to import."
3) If for any reason the package is seized by Customs Officials, we will not issue a refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition. If the package is returned to us by Customs Officials, the customer is still responsible for any shipping charges. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to orders returned by customs as "unclaimed."
4) The customer pays actual shipping charges based on the weight or dimensions of the package. Shipping charges alone are frequently 50% to 100% of the total cost of the products. Your shipping charge will appear in your shopping cart as you finalize your order BUT before your credit card is charged so you can review this amount.
5) Prepayment is required. Payment must be by paypal.
6) The customer is responsible for any duties or taxes that may apply.
7) Due to the limitations of certain International shipping vendors, tracking numbers can not always be provided for International Orders.

You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Orangeonions within 5 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
