It is a brown 20gb iriver. It is very sturdy and basically fall resistant because of the hard outer casing. It comes with USB connection cable as well as wall charger that connects with the USB adapter. It charges quite quickly and is in excellant shape. The iriver company is very helpful if you do come across any problems. It comes with the software disc, and the package it came in. If you do not like the software it is compatable with windows media player.
