Local buyers are able to pick up shipment with prior arrangement to save shipping charges. Large sized furniture will be shipped via freight only due to its large dimensions and safety purposes. Freight charges will be applied to the lower 48 states and is only for curbside delivery. Please note that the delivery company is not responsible for lifting or carrying the products into the house. Therefore, we recommend that you have help available to move the product into your home. For heavier shipments, lift gate service is available for an additional cost. For all other destinations, please contact us for a free quote. Please inspect the package thoroughly before signing for the delivery. It is normal for packaging to show some wear and tear but please carefully inspect the product for any potential damage that may have occurred during transit. If there is any noticeable damage to the package (i.e. forklift holes in the box or pieces falling out of the box), please make note of the damage on the delivery receipt prior to signing for the product. Once signed for, Moderntomato nor the trucking company is liable for any damages unless damage was noted on the delivery receipt. Damage claim must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and photo is required.
