these arent your cheepo every day wall sconces these are hand made in the good old U.S.A .from a company that has been in business since 1836 hancrafted  by s. wilder @ co inc. holliston mass.in the same way they made them back then nicely crafted of copper in a tome tested design. they are working fine and just need to be wired low dtarting bid no resurve.I have seen one plain one like this bring 180.00
