These plaster sconces each measure 17" wide...13" tall... and project 8 1/2" from the wall. The are marked in the plaster....(c) 1981 Richard Etts...they are also hand signed....Richard Etts 1990. Both sconces are in excellent condition...no cracks, chips, scratches, etc....the exterior has a very appropriate clamshell sheen. They are wired for plugging into a recepticle, but could be easliy adapted for direct wiring from the back if desired. Richard Etts is a listed artist (Davenport) and there is a great deal of information readily available on the internet about his career. We have found one previous sale for a pair of lamps....$3,800.00 and current asking prices for individual pieces range from $2,500.00 to $4,500.00
