This is a sepia studio portrait of a solemn young woman.

It is mounted on postcard stock. It measures 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.

It is very good shape with no stains,scratches or flaws.

Printed in small letters on the postcard side is:" A, Marry-Nevejans,Vierweegsche 18.Wondelgem." which is in Belgium.

I purchased a shoe box full of studio portraits and portrait post cards at an estate sale.

 The person running the sale said the owners told him the pictures were from Belgium and were taken during the late 1800s and early 1900s.

I try to describe everything as well as possible but please ask for more information or pictures if you would like.
