This Tabriz rug is a handmade Persian rug from the city of Tabriz is Iran. Completed just a couple of years ago, it was shipped to me as soon as it was completed. My specialty is in high end Persian rugs and if you look at my other rugs, you will notice that I only offer high quality pieces like this Tabriz rug. Like all of my Tabriz rugs, this piece is made of very fine Kurkwool and there are plenty of silk highlights throughout the whole rug. It is in flawless condition and even though it is a very ellegant looking rug, it is perfect for every day traffic. One of the unique feature of the Tabriz rug is the solid black color, which is extremely rare in Persian rugs.  Most dark Persian rugs tend to have a deep navy blue color, so Tabriz rugs like this one are a bit of a novelty and very hard to find.  As you can see in the picture, the black color works extremely well with the light border and the contrast with the silk highlights is perfect.
