GORGEOUS NEW DESIGN IN MAHI RUGS & EXTREMELY RARE!! This Tabriz rug is a handmade Persian rug from the city of Tabriz is Iran. Completed a short time ago, it was shipped to me and has never been used. This is a genuine Pirouzian rug and the Pirouzian family is among the best known weavers in Tabriz and in the Persian rug trade. The specialty of the Pirouzian family is in high end Tabriz Mahi rugs and they are highly regarded for their workmanship and quality. Every rug made by them has the family signature added, which you can see in the last picture.

My specialty is in high end Persian rugs and this Tabriz rug is a great example of what one should look and feel like. Most Tabriz Mahi rugs are made of a much lower quality, but this one is like all of my other Tabriz rugs a full 50 raj quality rug and it has some very delicate features that make it stand above the rest. The Pirouzian family are very well known in the Persian rug trade for their high quality Mahi rugs and they often add new designs or features that are very different then ordinary Mahi rugs. This Mahi rug for example has a brand new design that I have never seen before. It is one of the finest Mahi rugs that I have ever offered and the colors and details are just amazing. I have already had several clients comment about it and it's an absolute masterpiece.

Unlike most other Mahi rugs, this Tabriz rug features very soft Kurkwool with the silk highlights are clearly visible. I'm very particular about the rugs I offer and if you look at my other auctions and galleries, you will see that I do not overstate their qualities and I only deal in high end Persian rugs with a specialty in Tabriz rugs. Clients who have purchased these type of rare rugs keep telling me just how many compliments they receive from visitors and my Pirouzian Mahi rugs are extremely popular with my knowledgeable buyers.
