The pendant is crafted into the sacred syllable, AUM or OM... OM is the sacred syllable venerated since ancient times by Buddhists, Brahmins, and Hindus alike. The universe is said to have begun with this sound, and all the sounds of life are said to be contained within it. OM is thus considered the "breath of all life", and often regarded as too holy to be spoken aloud.

This pendant measures approximately 1 1/4" high with the clasp x 15/16" wide. This OM pendant is in Sanskrit script (if you search our Ebay store for Silver OM you will also find smaller and larger sizes of the Sanskrit script pendant as well as two sizes of Tibetan script OM pendants, pictured below)

Each pendant comes with a stone pill box similar to the one pictured in this listing. Each stone bowl is different, there is a wide variety of colors...they are carved from a kind of colorful marble from northern India and measures 1 1/2" wide.
